ABOUT SPEAKERS

Martin Barclay is Sr. Manager, Product and Publisher Marketing with Forum Nokia in Sunnyvale, CA. Martin works with developers and publishers to help make them successful on Ovi Store and to evangelize the Nokia Qt SDK for native app development. Martin has led co-marketing projects with Ovi Publishers such as Netflix, NHL, Canwest, CTV, Univision, and developers such as Fizwoz and Amnesia Games, and helps developers get their content integrated into digital, retail, and operator marketing campaigns. Martin leads the design, marketing and promotion for Nokia’s Calling All Innovators (www.callingallinnovators.com/10M) developer competition in the Americas region. Prior to Forum Nokia, Martin has held senior product management and marketing roles at IBM, 3Com, Avaya, and several Silicon Valley startups including Telera and Ubiquity Software. He has a B.A.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from Queen’s University.

 

Chad Saliba is the Solutions Services Manager at Nokia Canada in Ajax, Ontario. Chad manages the Ovi solution services portfolio between Nokia and its carrier partners, working to integrate and leverage Maps, Store, and Messaging services across the range of devices. Additionally, Chad leads the continued Canadian initiative of identifying and supporting mobile developers of all sizes and scale – helping to bolster the continuously expanding portfolio of applications and content designed to shine on the Nokia platform. He holds a B.Com from Ryerson University in Toronto.
