Manager, Business Development and Consulting Services
This position exists in order to find and develop relationships with local and national wireless companies that can benefit from Wavefront’s business acceleration services.
Key Responsibilities
- Works quickly and independently to map and assess the current state of the wireless business ecosystem.
- Develop relationships with potential clients in the form of direct consulting services from Wavefront staff.
- Rapidly understand the current state of a wireless company and what needs to be in place to accelerate business growth.
- Can skillfully use acquired information about business conditions to propose solutions customers will accept.
- Comprehends and shares an understanding about how new innovations become adapted by local, national and international carrier networks and other service providers.
- Establishes connections between all segments of the wireless ecosystem and those who wish to support/participate in this market.
- Develops and drives follow-up protocol through action items indentified that could include referral agreements, revenue sharing possibilities, consulting and testing services.
- Tracks leads and revenue potential such that other members of the team can understand the current state of progress.
- Must have sufficient knowledge to filter through the many wireless business development opportunities and know which ones can garner the most benefit from offered services.
- Help drive customer engagement and revenue.

- Presentation skills are highly developed such that the incumbent can make effective presentations to a wide range of audiences from 1-1 settings to large scale diverse audiences.

- Plans tasks and processes in order to deliver on identified objectives and must be able to identify gaps and provide recommended solutions.
- Understands how very small and very large organizations function, and quickly learns how to get things done through formal and informal networks.
- Passionate about the wireless industry and willing to take the initiative to make things happen.
- Sound understanding of how both start-up and mature businesses work.
Desired Background
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5+ years experience with wireless data solutions with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role.
Education Required
A university / college degree in related field
